THE BRANTNER GROUP

Today’s Brantner Group was founded by the Brantner family in 1936. It is now managed in third generation at it’s founding location in Krems an der Donau. Today Brantner has 65 branches and joint ventures in five countries and employs around 2,745 people.

With Brantner green solutions we are rethinking the disposal of waste and are therefore fully committed to the circular economy. Today’s waste is tomorrow’s resource: as many recyclable materials as possible are put to new use through recycling and upcycling. The constant exchange with customers and partners and the continuous increase in efficiency make us a driver of innovation and a leading company in waste management. We rely on our decades of experience and are successful across national borders.

OUR History

READY FOR TOMORROW

We operate 13 sorting plants, 13 landfills, a biogas plant and 11 composting plants in Europe, including Austria’s most modern composting plant “Erdenreich” in Gneixendorf (Lower Austria).
Around 1,000 municipalities and cities as well as more than 26,000 commercial and industrial companies in Austria and abroad are now Brantner customers.
This makes Brantner green solutions an important municipal service provider and regional employer.

The company has also responded quickly to the growing demands of digitalization and has thus taken on a pioneering role in the domestic waste management industry. The spin-off, Brantner Digital Solutions, focuses on digital concepts that enable an even more efficient implementation of the resource cycle. Brantner’s relentless commitment to linking areas with each other in order to create added value, gives it a pioneering role in the entire D-A-CH region when it comes to the “technologies of tomorrow”.
